World championship Kyokushin 2023
November 17 and 18, 2023, the NKKO is organizing the Kyokushin Karate Kumite and Kata World Championships under the auspices of the KWF.
It will take place in Arnhem, The Netherlands at Sportcentrum Valkenhuizen

Arnhem – Sportcentrum Valkenhuizen
The championship is located in Arnhem. Arnhem is perfectly accessible by public transportation. From Schiphol our national airport, there is a direct train connection to Arnhem. Within an hour you are in the center of Arnhem and to get to your hotel you take a bus or cab.


Het Wereldkampioenschap
Participation in the championship is only possible for country teams affiliated and/or cooperating with the KWU and or the EFCKO.
It will take place over three days. The draft program is as follows:
Thursday November 16:
- 12.00 -19.00 registration of the teams
- 20.00 – 22-00 referee briefing
- T.b.d. General meeting
Friday November 17 (6 tatami):
- 10.00 -12.00 Kata Championships – all categories
- Championship of children and juniors
- Preliminary rounds senior Championship up to half finals
- 20.00 – 22.00 KWF-meeting
Saturday November 18:
- 09.00 – 12.00 Half finales (3 tatami)
- 12.00 – 14.00 Break
- 14.00 – 18.00 Finals and awards awardsceremony (1 tatami)
- 20.00 – 24.00 Sayonara party

Transport between hotels and Valkenhuizen
During the championship it is possible to use transportation service between the official hotels and the Valkenhuizen Sports Center. For this, tickets must be purchased before November 1 in advance through the tournament organization.
